If you're a fan of warm, cinnamon-sugar goodness (hello, snickerdoodle cookies!), you're going to love this homemade Snickerdoodle Latte. It's sweet, cozy, and filled with the comforting flavors of vanilla and cinnamon—just like a freshly baked cookie. And the best part? You can make this indulgent coffeehouse-style drink in minutes, right in your own kitchen.
Ingredients
- 1 cup hot, freshly brewed coffee (medium or dark roast recommended)
- 3/4 cup whole milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus a pinch for topping)
- Pinch of salt (balances the sweetness)
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract (added after heating)
Instructions
- 1
Brew 1 cup (240ml) of hot, freshly brewed coffee using your favourite method (drip, French press, or pour-over). Set aside.
- 2
In a small saucepan, combine the milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Warm over medium heat until steaming (do not let it boil), whisking occasionally to dissolve the sugar and blend the spices.
- 3
Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Froth the milk mixture using a handheld frother, immersion blender, regular blender, or whisk vigorously until creamy and slightly foamy. Do so for only about 20 seconds until frothy, as blending too long will make it cold!
- 4
Divide the freshly brewed coffee evenly into two mugs (½ cup/120ml per mug). Pour the warm, frothed spiced milk over the coffee. Optional: lightly dust the top with a sprinkle of cinnamon for an extra snickerdoodle touch.
